Sylc® Therapeutic Prophy Powder – Powered by Novamin®

The Sylc® range of therapeutic prophy powders simultaneously
a) Seals exposed dentine to provide long term relief from dental hypersensitivity,
b) Provides fast removal of heavy staining without difficulties associated with aluminium oxide or bicarbonate powders plus whitens patients’ teeth up to 3-4 Vita shades returning enamel to its natural brightness,
c) Protects and soothes dental tissues. All due to the unique properties of the active ingredient, NovaMin, which is also used in Sensodyne’s Repair and Protect toothpaste.

Sylc® Original SR and P, 185g bottle

Novel prophy powder using 100% NovaMin®.
High level, quick cleaning to remove heavy staining with SR grade or polishing with P grade powder.
Unique, simultaneous desensitising that can last for several months.
No unpleasantness for clinician or patient as with aluminium oxide or bicarbonate.
Achieves 3-4 Vita shade change returning enamel to natural brightness
Two grades: SR for stain removal and P for polishing.

Sylc® SmarTips and Adaptor for surgery airlines

Uses Sylc® Original SR and P powders with same properties in single unit dose pre-filled blister
Each is enough to clean one arch.
Ideal for new or infrequent users as no air polishing unit required.
Blister goes on to reusable pressure regulating SmarTip Adaptor that connects directly to surgery airline.

Sylc® Blend SR and P, 185g bottle

Combines blend of NovaMin® with other minerals for lower cost treatment.
Similar results to Sylc® Original with slower cleaning and less desensitising.
No unpleasantness for clinician or patient as with aluminium oxide or bicarbonate.
Two grades: SR for stain removal and P for polishing.

Sylc® CR (caries removal) SmarTip for Minimally Invasive Dentistry

Uses Sylc® Original in smallest particle size.
Single unit dose prefilled blisters to fit on to SmarTip Adaptor
Abrades and removes infected tissue leaving healthy tissue ready for restoration.
Avoids use of turbine and local anaesthetic.

Unique, oil and pumice free prophy paste with no animal derived ingredients.
Uses novel blend of bioceramic and other minerals.
High level and quick cleaning to remove heavy staining or normal polishing.
Simultaneous desensitising.
